Advanced jQuery Video Gallery

I have built a mockup prototype that in its overall structure has been approved by the final customer. It is based on flowplayer and some of its jQuery tools, notably scrollable, overlay and content plugin. For the mockup I also used the classycode cover flow. You can see the mockup here: [login to view URL] The scope of the project is to develop a bugfree, working, but still static video gallery as specified in the detailed requirements below. Shortly, graphical guidelines will be provided and then will follow a phase 2 (new contract), where the video gallery will fetch its data from XML files, dynamically. ## Deliverables With respect to the attached word document: * The horisontal menu, currently done with image buttons, should be css3 boxes. * The horsontal menu should also be scrollable horsontally (in the case there are more than six categories of videos. * At each video page there should be an <a> tag at the top left, that when hoovering displays the speaker's bio in a tool tip. * To the right of the video there should be three divs (top, middle and bottom) where a banner or a textual message could be included at certain cue points of the video. * The cover flow does not necessarily be the classycode one. You could chooose any cover flow that is not flash. * You are not obliged to use the flowplayer/jQuery tools plugins. The important requirements are: > > > > <!-- --> > > > > * Horisontal navigation for categories, using horisontal scroll. > > * Cover flow to navigate between vides in a group. > > * Video detail page in the same window, scrolling in vertically. > > * Vertical menu for related videos. > > * Divs on top and beside video for displaying promotional messages and subtitles. * Fallback to HTML5 for browsers that don't support flash will be implemented in phase 2. * Reading XML content will be done in phase 2. For now just apply static content.
