I run a web content creation company i am looking to take the manual process in my business online. i have 5 key areas. to my project, writers submission of work, proofreading system, duplication checking and finance area and invoicing system.
Each area will automaically populate the next just like the manual process thats already in place.

Duplication checker,
We need an automatic system that uses copyscape to check all files as they are uploaded by writers. We need to use the api from copyscape. If passed needs to be marked as checked and passed onto the proofreading system, if dupe is found outside our tolerance it needs to be marked against the writer and automatically returned to them for altering and flagged to the admin team for follow up.
Proofreading system.
This system will allow us to move proofreading completely online. A proofreader will loginto their id where they will have access to ready dupeched articles. They will be able to edit the text there and then and then save it as passed, or if rejected they can fill inthe notes stated why. This will give us a flow of work in the order we want it read, and a tab on exactly what they are doing. When they hit accept it will move for delivery against the job number and be credited as passed to the writers id for invoicing, and of course the reverse if rejected.
Article Submission System
This will allow writers to upload their articles under their writer number. They will then go into the process automatically. All the way through the process they will be emailed with the status of their articles.
Email System
This will enable broadcast email to all writers, proofreaders, sending messages through the system and automatic emails that get fired out as articles pass through the system.
Writer Sign up System
This will allow writers to sign up online through a website be it purecontent or [url removed, login to view]
They will fill in all their info online, be given a writer number and the system will flag to admin to send them a brief, or possibly we have briefs online for them to pick from. Havent decided whether to charge yet?
Invoicing
This will be an automated self invoicing system. It will generate accurate invoices each month for each writer & proofreader using the stats from elsewhere in the system. It will then fire out mails to the freelancers with copy invoices. Gayle can print all files for our records and we can just print of payment report to sit and make payments. Paypal API?
Online Job Book
All the info on specific jobs, deadlines current targets etc and stats of whats happening that month.
Notes for users.
Writer account info
This will allow the writer or proofreader to login and get al their account info, work status etc
View previous invoices print their invoices, see articles in the sytem etc.
Stats page
An admin overview of everything, billing delivery etc... All in one place, with a report generator also in place.
