Custom designed program or web based software integrating with eBay’s API to copy customer’s eBay messages.

This is not the first time I have advertised my job on here, but I wonder if I am describing what I need doing correctly, so I will try again.

We sell personalised car signs on eBay. We receive many orders and emails per day with the name that the customer requests to be placed on their car sign. Reading every email and collecting the name from each car sign is a very long process. We also have to open each and every car sign 1 by 1 and type the customer’s name on each car sign. We use Adobe Photoshop for this and it is very time consuming.

I believe it is possible to make this whole process a lot easier and automated. This is my idea. I would like you to create a user friendly interface that we can use to manage our eBay customers, if you’re thinking eBay already do this, then think again!

I would like an interface that will allow me to scan my eBay account and collect orders and make visible all messages they have left. Illustration of this has been uploaded for you to download. Once all orders have been collected I would like to edit the message to contain only the name that the customer desires to be placed on their car sign. If you are thinking this is a lot of hard work and surely it would be easy to ask the customer to just leave the name only in the first place, think again. We have tried this and it does not work. Please please do not try to think of a way to make the customer do this, it is a waste of time and we know it will not work. We have resigned ourselves to the fact we must edit the messages ourself, and it really is no problem. So now all customer messages will contain the name only on our interface that the customer wishes to be place on their car sign. Next we will click export which will create some type of list. In this list must be information pertaining to the item purchased by which customer and the name to accompany it. Next we will open Adobe Photoshop up, and somehow I would like the program to ask for the list previously generated by the interface software. Once the list is selected I would like the car sign design to be automatically opened and text applied to the text layer in the design. We must use adobe Photoshop for this as our text layers are very complex in colours and design. Once the name has been applied to the car sign, I would like it to be saved in an output folder as a jpg. There is more I would like this interface to do, if you are willing to download the file, all will become clear.
