Database Conversion to VB

I am getting server 505 errors trying to upload the .zip file. I am working on it. John I would like a quote for one of my customers. The attached is a series of access databases. They are zipped and the password for the databases is “DATABASE?? in Caps. They all do the same thing. Each one tracks a simple set of data on batches of chemicals. When the batches get old (come up on the expiration date) they need a report to be issued to let them know what old batches to destroy. An email would be nice saying these are expiring today (quote this separate). After destruction, they come back in, select that batch, put a date into the “Date Out?? field and it executes a macro to make a copy of the database, remove that record, and copy it to an archive file. There are eleven of these databases. I need a price on combining them into one database with eleven tables to keep the chemicals separate. It needs to have a visual basic front end with an access 97 backend. They need to be able to log in and have two user groups. One is admin with read/write privileges and a user group that has read only rights. It needs to have a menu to choose the chemical group, a select screen to choose the chemical batch and a display / edit screen to edit the data. It also needs to have a data entry screen to add a new record to each table of chemicals. Some chemical tables have more fields than others but if we could standardize the number of fields we can use a standardized data display and edit screen, and hide the unused fields for specific chemicals. IE: if it’s this chemical then hide this unused field. When a record is added for a new batch, the “add a record?? process needs to have a built in label print routine to print a simple label for the new batch to put on the bottle. The label printer is a Windows driven printer so writing a simple report is ok and I can manipulate it to print the fields they choose later.
