We - a shipping agent- would like to install a little application in our firm to avoid the “paperwar “ following the workflow Costumer visit our web Ask for a cost estimate, selection by pull down menus (or similar) filling in the mask with the information required for going on. The system generates a email for the client, and display the incoming cost estimate on a intern website that only can be see by logged inn agents. An agent select the cost estimate by clicking on it and the system yet has fulfilled the fixed price we have for the most of service we offer, of course the price depends on the amount or weight. (e.g. From 1000 tons to 1500 price A, price b is for 1501 till 2000 and so on). Other prices must be handled manual by our agents. The agent confirm the final cost estimate an the system send a text mail including his initials (footer etc) attaching the cost estimate as pdf to the costumer which – if he likes – click on a link to proceed to a webpage to fulfill the remaining date we need in addition (phone etc..) The costumer´s confirmation is send to the system and displayed in the intern “overview” website that it can be seen be everybody logged in on this system The client comes to the harbor and need more good and service in addition which is scored as well on a “service bill” based on the accepted cost estimate. The costumer leave the port, the sys sum all services used, the agent can close the account. System informs the “overview” intern page and sends a email to the administration. Administration goes on scoring the bill and sending it to the costumer’s administration.(update in DB and web-overview) There must be a administration page to change the price range, make footers, change “bill related” data, and so on. Not defined yet: The intern administration works with its on system and it will be necessary to connect the 2 databases to avoid double work. It will be hosted on a extern service provider. You should Program the php, the adminpage, configure database, make “intern website” (the one view - overview), installation on the extern server an bring it to work. i attach a workflow we created (only in spanish) but understandable i guess thanks
