Advice to restore RAID5 on Adaptec controller

I have a set of disks on an Adaptec 2810SA SATA RAID controller. Some of the metadata for the array has been damaged, but I am certain that the actual data on the disks is still intact. The disk on channel 5 suffered a temporary failure (loose power cable). The RAID5 sets named "Device0" and "Device 3" rebuilt, accepting the replaced disk 5 as a spare as soon as it was re-detected. However, the array named "Device1" went to 'rebuilding' for a few seconds and then became 'failed' even though only one disk had been missing. As these volumes are all read-only, I have to assume that any error is in the array metadata only. I would prefer to solve this problem using the '[login to view URL]' command line utility rather than the graphical Adaptec Storage Manager if possible (as ever since I started using Adaptec controllers, the GUI utility has occasionally reported incorrect data) If possible, I would like to restore the array named "Device1", reconstructing the data on disk 5 as if it had been inserted as a spare to replace the missing disk. If this is not possible, it would be acceptable to add a partition at the beginning of disk 5, and then scrub the array to ensure all parity data is valid. Any corruption in the actual data area, I would expect to be identifiable using filesystem-level recovery tools and application-level parity checks (which I do not need any help with - your job will be done as soon as the array is online, regardless of the quality of data within it) I attach a set of logs from the aaccli utility, describing the current layout of arrays on this controller. I note that in the "disk show space" results, there is the line "0:06:0 Rebuild 189GB:42.9GB" - even though there is not a rebuild task running. I suspect (although feel free to correct me) that if this status could be set to something sensible, the container would be able to accept disk 5 as a hot-spare, and rebuild correctly. ## Deliverables 1.
