The project is a testing utility for evaluating speech understanding in a clinical setting. It will be widely distributed to audiology clinics in the U.S. and Canada. The users are audiologists testing cochlear implant patients. The software will be running on a computer attached to an audiometer, which will be used to attenuate and route the signal to the patient in a sound booth. Many users will have only basic computer skills, so the program must be implemented accordingly. A detailed description of the program requirements and an explanation of the intended user interaction are provided below. We are open to suggestions and improvements regarding the design and implementation of the project.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
