This project is to develop a custom job management client-server software application for use by a real estate valuation firm. The program will be installed on employee computers and have a user-friendly interface that allows adding, editing, and viewing of entered client and job data. The application will store and access entered data on the company’s server and allow for user authentication and access from within the office and remotely via an Internet connection and? our VPN. It will allow for easy patches / updates. Different users will have different permission levels controlling which data fields they can enter and edit and which modules are available to them.
After completion of the original project, the programmer will need to be available from time to time to perform updates. Update fees will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis depending on the scope of the update.

Multiple bidders have asked -- and yes, this can either be developed as a web-based application or as a stand-alone server/client executable. It's up to the programmers in the bidding process to decide what is the best way. We are open to all approaches.

After considering the decision of whether this should be web-based or a freestanding program to install on computers, we'd prefer it to be web-based. Please ensure that your bid is for a web-based solution. Thanks!
