This project consists of the following requirements:
1. Capture either the video or video frames of an Android phone based 8-Megapixel camera (e.g., Samsung Galaxy Note/SII, etc.) along with the time of acquisition. The user should be provided with an option button on the application screen to either choose the video or the frames. The video should be Full-HD encoded with H.264 codecs. If the user chooses frames, then it should be full resolution frames.
2. Simultaneously log the other inertial sensors (i.e., accelerometers, gyro, and digital compass) along with the acquisition times.
3. The information (images, sensors) will be captured in sessions which can be started or stopped using buttons. Each session will be named after date and time of the acquisition start. A session is started by a start button press, ended by a stop button press or a 30 seconds (default, but configurable) timeout.
4. The images and sensor information need to be stored on the phone in different folders depending on the session.
5. The sensor values need to be read as faster as possible. If this results in non-synchronicity among different sensors then the sensor which has been read should be logged with the time stamp.
6. The format of the picture is not fixed and should be configurable capture start (PNG, JPG).
7. If the Euler angles are available, then these should also be logged to the file.
