Introduction To address all the learning outcomes / assessment criteria you must attempt all the tasks set out below. Failure to do this will result in a referral. All such references must be listed in full and in alphabetical order on a references page at the end of the assignment. The assignment should be 3,500 - 4000 words in length and you must provide all the associated evidence of your research as listed in the tasks. Assignment Requirement The overall requirement of the assignment is that you select an organisation with which you are familiar and carry out research on it in order to develop a 3500-4000 word report on a significant project undertaken by the organization that will analyse the planning, organisation, conduct and outcomes of the project. Your report should document the research question, methodology, findings, results and conclusions and should assess the conduct of your research. You should identify the decisions and tasks that were conducted successfully and suggest ways the research could be improved. Finally you should identify specific areas where further research could be conducted in the future. The project will be carried out in teams. At the end of the research project your team will present their findings to the class in a presentation that will include a question and answer session. The class will be expected to provide feedback on the teams work, results and conclusions. Following the presentation and feedback you will produce then produce the individual written report. Working in teams you are going to select a significant business project in the selected organization. This selection will require an initial visit to the organization and discussions between your team, and the organizations managers or representatives.
