Our customers use OpenERP (v.7) the database used by OpenERP is served by Postgres.
within OpenERP is a function to create/ and restore a backup. However this needs to be done by manually clicking this option.
We however want to have a robust backup and restore function that is automated, and are looking for someone that can provide this functionality.
We believe however that it is probably best use the backup/ restore functionality from postgres as a base, instead of the function from within the application.
requirements are:
- automated daily backup
- configurable storage location for the backups (cloud, or server in different network)
- must be possible to automate backups for all our customers and all their databases
- backup and restore must be easy, reliable and proven to work
