We would like a custom plugin developed for Adobe Lightroom 2.0+ that will allow people to login to their Instaproofs accounts and upload their images directly from Lightroom using FTP.
This has been done by many other companies, and Adobe provides an SDK for doing this. You can view the SDK details here: [login to view URL]
## Deliverables
This custom plugin will need to function in the following way:
1) The user will use Lightroom to select the images to upload.
2) The user will launch the plugin from lightroom and log into their Instaproofs account.
3) Once they are logged in, all of their active Instaproofs events will be populated in a drop-down list.
4) The user will select which event they would like to import the images into.
5) The user will hit an "Upload" or "Import" button, and the plugin will start the upload process.
6) During the upload process, the plugin will resize the images that are being uploaded to a size no larger than 1280x1280px (always 1280px on the largest side, keeping the original aspect ratio) before they are uploaded. The resized images should not overwrite the original images on the users hard drive.
7) When the upload is in progress, there should be an indicator to the user that shows where they are in the upload process and how much time is remaining.
There are many similar plugins available for other image sites that can be referenced. Here are a few examples:

And here is a basic FTP plugin that provides a great example of how to show the progress of the upload:
