A simple shell script

I need to back up some files at a server that is holding mp3 files, using ftp. The script will be running at “server3” “server1 “ is the host of the files and “Server2” is the destination server. There will be up to 100.000 files in each folder. The folders will be listed in a *.txt file The script will do: * log into server1 * download first folder to server3 * log the filenames to *.log * tar the files and split them to max 1 GB files * Upload the tar files to server2 * delete all downloaded files at server3 * do next folder It must be possible to unpack the *.tar files with winrar in one operation. (not unpacking each file separately)
