I have a Classic ASP site hosted in Azure and want to add functionality that allows the user to upload documents to an FTP server. The FTP server is not the same as the server running the website (i.e. the FTP server is not hosted in Azure). The site already uses Bootstrap and a drag and drop facility would be my preference.

Hi, I have eveloped various projects in classic ASP with MsSql database. Infact, 90% of the projects done so far are in ASP, which includes simple dynamic page to complex ecommerce related websites. Through HTTP, we can always transfer the files to web server through browse and upload functionality , however, you need to create the folder permission to upload the files. Hi, That might be tricky(but POSSIBLE) if you are using Web Apps. Using Virtual Machines, you have more control and you'll be able to register your COM DLL. For better results and durability, we have to rely on 3rd party components which can be installed on Azure virtual machines. I need to look at your website and server environment so I know exactly what is needed. -- Waqas Mehmood

There are others secure ways to do it. a simple post or saving the document in binari format. I could send you a link to test it even from a ipad or mobil device.

Hi, I can do this work for you on classic asp (vb script). So, as I understand your web site placed on one server and ftp folder on another server. And you need to allow users to upload files on your ftp server but it'll looks like they are on main site. I can create Iframe solution, but I have a question, can we run some asp scripts on FTP server? Thanks, Denis
