This is how I need the program to run.

1) A person will write a matric number and the marks of the paper

2) I will take a picture of it using a web cam.

3) The program will automatically process and detect the digits.

4) Once the digits are determined the output will show in excel after it matching with the matric no in it and automatically save their mark.

5) And then the file of excel will be save in any cloud service

-I prefer it written in Matlab and use Excel or google spreadsheet

- can complete the software in a week or two..

I've done digit recognition in matlab once, mainly by KPCA or SVM. The recognition rate was above 97 or 99 percent, I remember. Nature of this problem is classification, and the key is how to search their charactors. Більше
