I should be able to complete this project by writing a simple ruby script that checks the sites you need data from and inserts the data into a MySQL database using the Sequel library. Five days to complete this job may even be an overestimate, but I am being conservative because I can't know how complex the data collection will be without seeing the websites you are collecting data from.
