Counseling Website (Re-) Design needed

I need some ideas for a redesign of a counseling website. The startpage should lead to 8 different sections/subpages. Each section has to be assigned to a specific color. This color should be visible on the selection of the startscreen and should also be the basecolor on the subpage when you click on it. An maybe better idea is to keep the color-scheme of the subpages rather similar (unlike in the examples) but instead use background images or background-gradients to show the color of the sub-section. The whole design should look very professional and smooth. An example of the startpage and 3 subpages can be seen in the attached screenshots. But these examples should really only show the basic structure!!!! The design itself is currently rubbish so thats why i ask for a redesign :-) So don't keep too close to my example. It's main purpose is really only to give you an idea.... For this Project i need some mockups of the startpage and an example of 1 or 2 subpages. Later on this mockup needs to be converted to a joomla 3 template, but that will be a seperate project. Nevertheless it would be nice if you could do that as well, so i can assign it as a follow up job.
