Design for Children Web App - Early Design mock up - will have follow up project!

This request is a simple mock up/design request - one page only. Low demo budget. This page doesn't have to be final and will likely be adjusted with budget from later projects. But you need to convince me you are the right partner to continue the work. Create a cool start page design for: - web app (ipad - landscape/portrait) - for children (4yrs to 8yrs) - to teach them math & reading Several sub pages will follow later. This will impact the design of this start page. So how will you link it from the main page for example - plan design elements accordingly? Keep in mind we are talking about children. So the whole design needs to be: - colourful - high contrast - ideally simple forms - having a main character (animal?) that will guide children through out the app later. So this character will be on start page to say "hello". Overall there will be in later follow up project(s) more sub pages like the individual exercises, achievement pages and so on. But before I post those projects I want to see your first design approach and check if we agree on design approach. When you bid for this demo: - take into consideration this is a early mock up to see whether we agree on design - this will have follow up work - provide one or two _relevant_ references by message. Relevant are graphically rich pages/apps. Children graphics are a plus. I'l ignore generic messages/bids just referring to overall portfolio.
