I am about 30% to 50% of the way through designing my new ecommerce website which will be a site where users are matched up based on the goods and services they are seeking to barter with others. Thus far, the designs have been executed by a company in India, but we have mutually decided to part ways. Therefore, if you win this bid, you will have to pick up from where they left off. I'm looking for someone who can efficiently and creatively execute the design to on-line phase and then serve as Webmaster on on-going basis. In addition to its practical applications, this site will have a highly distinctive feel and look. It is not your typical "cookie-cutter" website. It has a unique creative "hook" and comical element in that it plays off MTV's Jersey Shore phenomenon. The site uses lots of "Guido" isms and elements. For example:, (1) there will be a video/audio intro utilizing an actor who will portray the site host, Vinnie Boombahts ( think: Joey Tribiani from "Friends") (2) the home page plays the song Volare until login, (3) Once you login, the site greets you with a "Howyoudoin?" message, (3) if you fail to get a match, you get a message that says "FUHGEDDABOUTIT!", and so on and so forth. If this "hook" doesn't mean anything to you and you don't "get it", then you should not apply.
