add a new search category to a customized Wordpress plugin

Currently, the customized plugin at [login to view URL] allows visitors to search by 'speaker' or by 'topic.' We would like to add an another search category called 'industry/field'. So, the options on the home page would then look like this: Search by [speaker] or [industry/field] or [topic] This will require the ability to add, delete or edit industries/fields. This editing area needs to also include a place where we can enter a text list of topics that relate to each particular industry/field. The results page that is returned when someone searches by industry/field should be formatted like this: On desktop: 2/3 left side column ------------------------- This column would show any speakers who match the industry/field that was searched. 1/3 right side column --------------------------- This column would have a title at the top that says "Topics for this industry include:" Below that would be a list of any topics which match this industry/field. Those topics should be just text, not be links. On mobile: The speakers would appear first The "Topics for this industry include:" section would appear underneath the speakers.
