I need someone to SHOW me how to do this. I do not want it done for me. If you have the time today and can easily explain this, this job is yours!
This is what I'm trying to do:
Save an image taken by the user, along with text, and two doubles as a single custom Object as a Firebase document added to a collection named by the currently authenticated User.
This is what happens now:
The authentication and Firestore works just fine, and if I omit anything image-related, my code works. When I get to the Activity to take an image, it opens the Camera. I can take the image and it correctly sends it back to the imageView I use as a preview in that Activity. Before I followed ant example tutorial, it was at least saving the Uri, but now it's not even doing that. I had to comment out that code so nothing is saved now.
I'm not sure what to do once I have the image in the preview. I'd like for it to be saved along with everything else in Firestore, if possible. I'm not sure how to go about doing that.
