Briefly, the project is about an airplane case study. The objective is to board each passenger to their seats as given to them when the passengers made their boardings. There are two types of passengers, business and the economy. 12 seats for business and 108 for the economy. There are 4 seats in each aisle of the business, and 6 seats in each aisle of the economy, i.e, 3 iesles for business and 18 aisles for the economy. The software that will be used to solve this project is Simio.
The most important thing is that passengers will be given their seats randomly. After that, the passengers will enter to the airplane. There are some decisions and procedures that the passengers should make before having his seat.
1) Is his seat in this aisle. If yes put the bags and search for the seat. If no go to the next aisle.
2) Then if his seat is on the window. He should check is there is someone sitting beside him. If yes the time will be double to have his seat since the passenger sitting beside him should go out for the window passenger to have his seat. If no, he will have his seat directly.
3) If the passenger is sitting beside the aisle he will have his seat directly.
