I started my career as a lawyer practicing in the areas of civil litigation, insolvency, & insurance defense. Thereafter, I joined BARBRI Bar Review. I managed the San Diego office & became a Director of Legal Education. I did bar exam preparation lectures on campuses such as Stanford, Berkeley, & UCLA. I was co-editor of several editions of the BARBRI Essay Workbook, Performance Test Workbook, California Essay Advantage & Performance Test Advantage Workbooks. After 12 years of experience as a licensed attorney in the US, I moved to Hong Kong and joined Conventus Law as a freelance writer and reporter in October 2013 covering legally relevant issues within the APAC region, and continue to provide coverage for them today.
