Good Afternoon, We are looking for a professional who is able to create an effective, catching, and well written copywriting for an online store which we are developing. The way it will be written is crucial for the success of the store. Indeed the business consist in selling a small amount of popular products (like mobiles and electronics) online at a significant cheaper amount than the average price. We are able to do that as we buy new branded items with from different sources like unwanted stock, unwanted gift, large retailer etc. However we do not stock any product and for this reason we send the purchased item after 30 days of the purchase date. Therefore the users/customers will be able to access to multiple branded items at a significant cheaper cost but, on the other hand, they have to wait 30 days. They have the right to return the item if defective and all the other protection which the Customers right act provide. For these reasons you can see how the writing part of the website is crucial. As we want to keep the store simple we have estimated 3 pages that need copywriting: 1) How it works 2) Your rights 3) Faq We think the text will be crucial to build trust and to overcome possible queries like: Why is so cheap? Can I Trust you? Why it takes so long? Etc. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY We consider your BID only if you provide an answer on the following points: 1) Looking at our project details what do you think will be the major issues in writing the texts required and how would you overcome them? 2) How may FAQ do you think is important to write and why? 3) All the project we have done on freelancer so far we paid 50% at the delivery of the final texts and 50% after 15 days to allow us to do proofreading processes. Hello - I would love to write for you! And I have no problem with the payment arrangement. That said...to answer your questions: 1) I would say as far as major issues, trying to establish both credibility and trust...Given your endeavor, I think people are likely to be suspect, particularly with having to wait the thirty days. I would say the tone needs to be sincere, the process quite thoroughly outlined and perhaps even work on some competitor comparisons to respond to the "why is it so cheap?" 2) FAQs- probably 12-15. I hate to inundate users with too many FAQs because it seems then like you may be trying to compensate for something. My philosophy is answer the most pertinent questions and again reinforce that transparency and honesty of process. A little on my background...I have spent the past ten years in sales and marketing for a construction/remodeling company. Additionally, since 2011 I have been working in a freelance/consulting capacity. Through my company, I've helped businesses and start-ups negotiate the nuances of online marketing and branding. I've developed website material for a multitude of industries from art, to law, to health care, to name a few. I basically spend my days in front of my computer ensuring that the online strategies I've employed are in fact working. If they don't show results, then I am not doing my job. Best, Anne

hello 1) The project details bring a lot to think about. the most important issue will be trust in the minds of the customers. other main concern will be the availability of the product as extra stock from other store once it has been ordered by the customer(actually im a bit confused with the process here since the description doesnt say anything regarding this). the third problem would obviously be the 30 day long delivery period in the era where blue dart like express deliveries provide you with the product the very next day. these are a few examples of the hurdles the business will face. 2) There is a typo in the question but i think what you mean to ask is, how MANY faqs are important. for that i think the more the better. we should give answers to as many obvious and crucial questions as we can think of, so that no customer leaves in doubt and which will in turn surely increase the sales. if we can provide truthful and good answer to evry doubt of the stakeholders we are surely to stay. 3) 50% at delivery of all the work and 50% after 15 days is okay but we will have to divide the bid into 6 equal parts for the 3 columns you want me to write for. the creation of milestones at the beginning of the project is a must. after this I am ok with the work and payment.
