I want to build STM8S103 8bit Microcontroller based digital fan dimmer or Regulator I have complete hardware setup which only needs software to run the project. Require C code which should have the following functions 1- single digit 7 segment Display increment or decrement using up and down button 2- for the controlling of 220v AC Fan speed IC trigger the Tric on ZERO crossing according to the speed we set. 3- IR remote is also attached to the hardware so I need to control the speed of Fan+ON/OFF function 4- some additional function like power supply feedback PWM signal

Hi, I have developed many projects with STM8s003f3p6 because it is one of the cheapest MCU. It would be better if I can use STM8s003 but will be no problem with STM8s103. I use iar 8 bit compiler for coding. Yours Truly, Ali SERBETCI

Task looks clear to me, I've done tasks the same to this task. Low cost for review. I have much hardware in my lab, so I will do the task in hardware, so you will have a fine working debugged code and a video of working.

Hi! As Electronics Engineer I developed plenty software in C for embedded systems, your project seems really interesting and the STM8S103 is really a great choice, We can handle the inputs with the robust interrupts of the chip and I guess if you are using a external zero cross detector for this task. I can provide you a great software in C, at the very low level of programming if you wish, using the ST Link V2 to program it. I am starting as freelancer but have plenty of experience outside the platform in local industries in my city, having developed software and hardware for IoT, accurate sensing and actuators. I am a mechatronic engineer with experience in micro-controller programming, I have done similar projects like that, I can help you with the control of the fan with triac, the 7 segment Display and the IR remote is not a problem.

Hello there, I'm very interested in your project. I made different types of IR remote controlled (SIRC/SONY & NEC remotes) device for 1Fan + 2lamps what I've sold over 4000 copies in last few years. I made with PIC12F675 for small one, PIC16F676 for with button function, PIC16F76 with seven segment and button. Also today I completed one with bluetooth module. If you interested I can show my works. I've been using valid licenses for mikroC pro for PIC since 2012. Also I'm interested with STM MCUs, I want to buy its license too now. If you give me a chance, I can try with STM MCUs. And if you want with PIC I can give the design right now. No flickering in lamps or Fan, 100% smooth and long lasting design for AC220V, 50Hz +/- 2Hz. If you are interested please send me a message.
