C# TCP client-server, both should simultaneously read and write from/to each other

I am a software developer, but TCP is not my area. I would need an experienced C#/TCP programmer to assist me to develop a simple .NET /C# based TCP client and server. The objective is to establish communication between the two applications, then read and write from each other simultaneously. In other words, both the client and the server will send and receive data at the same time. The sample periodic data will be generated within a timer, as well as button click events. I imagine the process as working together in several steps: I describe what I need for the given step, you come up with a working code, we review it together, and we move to the next step for more complex functionality.
