I am an experienced user of ansys and have conducted studies which involves complex UDF's. I have conducted various studies regarding PCM materials 1.) Effect of PCM material (TRICOSANE) and nanoparticles (Al2O3) on heat pipe for cooling application (research paper accepted and is about to get published - experimental thermal and fluid science ) (sci journal) 2.) Effect of PCM on PCB board for cooling application ( research paper under progress) eulerian model is used for all the above model with the latent heat extracted from experimental results. The result exactly matched the experimental results. If you want a work sample , please discuss in chat. Now regarding your simulation , The cost and duration will totally depend upon your requirement. for eg- the current 150$ includes grid independence , hexahedral mesh (ICEM CFD).
