Research and create a database of beverage types

For a research project we need to create a database or an excel sheet with as much information on alcoholic beverages as possible. The data set should contain at least the following: 1. Type -Wine -Champagne -Beer -Whiskey -Vodka -Tequila -Gin -Sochu -Sake 2. Subtype A - e.g. for wine: white, red, rose 3. Subtype B - e.g. for wine: sauvignon blanc, merlot, bordeaux 3. Columns for miscellaneous information - e.g. taste descriptions, vintage (for wines), dryness (for sake) Project implementation: The winning freelancer will write us a few lines outlining the approach to the project, which might include any of the below (or a combination): - scraping information of existing websites - there are many to choose from - manually researching the information Any suggestions to improve on the project brief are welcome - e.g. if you have a way to also scrape product images/logos and provide these in a database, that may be interesting (but not necessary for this phase). The key for awarding the project will be the assurance that for each product category, all major subtypes will be provided - e.g. all major wine types (riesling, chardonnay, merlot) but not necessarily all major brands (there are too many). All major Sake types, but not all brands (again too many). There are many websites to choose from for this information - it is up to you whether you will do this manually or through some automated tool. A sample excel sheet is attached. Please indicate how many products you will provide as part of this project (e.g. 1000 wines, 500 beers, or >100 for each beverage type). Suggestions to improve the project scope or approach are welcome.
