I need to turn my Arduino into a class-compliant midi device. I have my circuit set up in the exact same way as it's set up here [login to view URL] I will be using the Arduino Uno, shifting in multiple digital inputs using a bunch of CD4021BE shift registers (wired EXACTLY like they are in the linked example above). I have 90 buttons I need to connect, so I will be using 12 of the CD4021BE's and plenty of 10k Ohm resistors to complete it. NOTE: the Arduino Uno does not support the MidiUSB library; I need to connect via usb, NOT a physical midi jack (in other words I eventually want the Arduino to be recognized by the computer as a native midi device). I'm not doing any complicated matrix for the buttons, every button will get its own digital input (because I have already made the pcb the buttons will sit on).

I have worked on projects for developing shields for Arduino and Raspberry Pi. For Arduino I had worked on projects for 1. Motor driver for small machining operation. 2. Controller for watering plants. 3. Basic Home Automation. What I understood is you need a PCB layout for accommodating 12 Shift Registers and provide connector for connecting the button PCB and for sending data to Arduino.
