Looking for a freelance electrical engineer in Southern California (Orange County) to design, build and troubleshoot custom electronics and put together instrumentation for test and measurement for various projects. Would require visits to our site to discuss details with our engineers. Mixed signal applications and some embedded computing skills required. Experience with high frequency circuits also a plus.

If you decide to go with a remote candidate, I am capable of schematic capture, PCB layout, fabrication, and some 3D modeling for PCB mounting and items of that nature. I have experience in high speed circuit layout such as HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, and USB so I understand the importance of impedance control and proper routing techniques. Also capable of firmware development for PIC, MSP430, or ARM based MCUs.
