Hello, The main breaker rating is selected in such a way that it continuously allows normal operating currents , and breaks it when there is an un bearable current on its circuit within a time it (that current) cannot damage the wires. If you need to change the breaker size, this is what you should do. 1. Check the main wire size 2. Measure the maximum operating (normal current) by a clamp meter If the 100 A breaker characteristics meets the two conditions I mentioned at the beginning, then it should be okay. But there is no substantial difference in prices of 125 A and 100 A. So, if there is no other concern, leaving it as it is would be the best thing. This is a simple problem, and I think you can do it yourself. Thank you.
