Hello we need to update around 2000 records of text that are mostly in upper case to normalise characters,. e.g. HELLO MY NAME IS ROBERT to Hello My Name is Robert The file is in csv excel format and we prefer someone who is familiar with excel to do this task by formula rather than manual update to prevent typing errors. Job must be done within one day to be considered complete

the answer is to paste this in the cell. =PROPER(A1) copy down and copy paste text as value. all commands are under the fx at the top. I hope this helps you. Donna
