We are looking for someone to help with medical “MeSH” term keyword extraction for 489 one-paragraph research statements. MeSH (Medical subject headings) is a controlled vocabulary thesaurus used for indexing journal articles in Medicine. More specifics on the task: We would like to extract the relevant MeSH keywords from each of the 489 research statements using the NIH US National Library of Medicine MeSH on Demand online analyzer: [login to view URL] The MeSH keywords can be extracted by inputting the text to be processed into the above weblink and then clicking “Search”. Once the text has finished processing, the tool will return a list of MeSH keywords. As an output, we would like this list of MeSH keywords in a .csv or .txt file where the keywords returned from each statement would correspond to one row in the .csv or .txt file in the same order (e.g., the MeSH terms for the statement in row 1 of the statement file corresponds are in row 1 of output file). We will provide the file with the statements once the project has been awarded.
