This can be achieved more easily in Google Sheets as compared to Excel. I have excellent command on Google Sheets. I have completed complex projects before. Hi sir, I have read your description about the task. You said it right. This task can be done on Google sheets effeciently using Google Scripts. Also this can be performed using Excel VBA but that way you need a FTP servers credentials or something in the same way to pass a parameter of file. Google Sheets are quite easier in this way. Because you may only need the Document ID with permissions or You can have it a directory and share it with the other people. I have gotten an understanding of your project but i'd like to see the data sheet you are already using to be confident on this task. Let's discuss about this project.
