PLEASE READ FIRST BEFORE YOU PLACE A BID: I need copyediting for a 145K word novel. No rewriting required from your part, we just need you to ensure that there are no spelling errors and the grammar is Perfect as per US English standard. 1) Grammar Check 2) Spelling Check 3) Timeline checks 4) Inconsistency checks Everything will be kept confidential. You will not have any rights or claim to the book. We will sign a confidentiality and non-exclusivity contract. We own the rights to the book and all profits that will be derived from it. Your participation is only up to the extent of the editing although you will be mentioned in the credits and acknowledgement pages. This is a contemporary ROMANCE book so passion for reading romance books is a must. Timeline is between 3 to 4 weeks. We prefer someone whose mother tongue is American English. And somebody who's from the US to be able to check for cultural inconsistencies in the book. The setting of the book is US. PLEASE BID A FIXED PRICE. NOT AN INITIAL BID PRICE OR AN HOURLY RATE. THE BUDGET FOR THIS IS LOW AS THERE ARE TWO OTHER ROUNDS OF EDITING THAT WILL BE DONE AFTERWARDS.

Hello, first I want to say I am an avid reader and writer. I enjoy romance and romantic suspense. I would love to help edit the book. I am very good at picking out errors in the books I read and making sure they flow and have consistency, all while keeping the readers interested and wanted more. I am a native American speaker (born and raised), and have edited several projects in the past. I took several years off from Freelancer in order to have some babies, but I am slowly easing my way back in. I have plenty of free time during the day to work on your project and will dedicate all I have to complete the project in a timely manner. I am giving myself at least a week to finish the project for you, in order to ensure you are getting my best work and to keep from just rushing through. I like to use Word as a editing program so that you can see where I have made changes and decide if you would like to make those changes are not.
