ABOUT US:
I own a Tropical Fish and Coral Reef Import / Export comapany and am trying to bring our website into the 21st century. We are adding many new features to it like youtube streaming videos, a massive online shopping center, we are currently looking for a good game programmer to make us a custom hobbyist related game, etc.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
For this particular bid, we are looking for a very talented Cartoonist that not only can draw but "Must" be very creative. I won't be giving but maybe very little ideas but I need a freelance cartoonist to just step up and be creative enough to come up with some real funny drawings anywhere from a single page drawing to maybe a cartoon strip short of 3-4 slides.
WHAT STYLE ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
Everything! Serious Hard Core drawings worthy of making numerous T-Shirts from it to give away to our customers. A dangerous looking shark or threatening ugly Angler Fish boasting the franchisee of our corporation we are making it for. Think of it like the "Hard Rock Cafe" T-Shirt that says "Southern California", "Atlanta, GA", etc. where we may make shirts for all our store locations. Others should be very funny! Total comedy. Another may be fish waiting in lines to get into our Oceanpro Aquatics, Inc. stores or something like that. These need to be of very good quality suitable to be posted for our company in metropoliton newspapers, our websites, on clothing, etc. Eventually, a logo of sorts should be made up and we can see about an even more busy schedule of work to create a potential clothing line for our Aquarium, Reef and Pond Hobbyist trade.
DURATION OF JOB:
I'm looking first for quality, second for speed and third for the very best price I can get here. Each job will be paid on a base by base process. We would like to have a minimum of one cartoon or drawing made at least once a month. This may increase especially if it's affordable. If you are what we are looking for, this will become a full time job for good (Long Term Employment and steady income).
BENNEFITS:
Experience not only in drawing but also connections in overseas T-Shirt production if it can be done for less than here when needed is a big plus, Experience of any level of keeping or carring for Tropical Fish or Reef Aquariums or Ponds are a big plus, various drawing technieques whether it be on the computer, by pencil, charcoal, color pens, painting, watercolor, oils, airbrush or other would be very cool bennefits and would be considered when choosing someone for this job!
WHAT I ASK FROM YOU:
I ask that you back up your work 100%. Make several drawings or just one per month. If we like them all, we will buy them all. If we don't like something, I would expect you wouldn't want compensation for something we don't want. I believe in a "Good Faith" relationship especially when it comes to long term work together. We just be honest with each other.
LEGAL:
All photos created will become the sole property of Oceanpro Aquatics, Inc. You will be required to sign off a legal agreement not to sell our work or anything related to it to any other person by penalty of law.
BID FOR THIS JOB:
You are to bid only for a single typical job. One cartoon and nothing more. If anything which you feel is much more work than you feel worth what we agree to pay, I would sit with you and determine whether we would want it or not based on what you felt it was worth. We simply want to be fair.
The bid is for a single normal cartooning whether it be in black and white or color (we do prefer color in most cases).
