This is a simple checklist project involving organization, loading, and smoothing out of my existing Wordpress template. The website is [login to view URL]
Must know and have dealt with [login to view URL] who is the hosting company.
Please note the following from someone who won the job then had two clients fall out of the sky w/ emergency projects. (Great Gal, would love to do it but she's swamped and gave all this info uncharged w/o even asking - WOW!)
-----------
Note I am NOT seeking a total redesign. References with contacts must be given and pleas show me work performed on previous WORDPRESS sites.
This is my first time posting here and I'm so glad to have found it after flakes on CL who talked a good game but never came back with references!
## Deliverables
CHECKLIST
1. Update your far right sidebar with images of current
projects, etc. pipe in images from Flickr account by using a plugin
and inserting some code. This is a simple matter and any Wordpress coder who knows what they're doing will be able to do this.

2. News related posts appear in the "News"
section of your sidebar. To achieve this you can create a new category
called "news" through your blog's admin section, then put some code in the sidebar telling it to show posts only in the news category. Then to prevent the same posts from appearing in your main content area you would have another bit of code placed into it telling it to ignore all news related posts.
This bit of code is close to what you'll need:

3. Enlarge the logo by switching the image with the larger version- this
should take a web designer no longer than thirty seconds to do, unless they have to readjust the size of the column to accomodate the larger logo. Please keep in mind I may change companies so the adjust needs to be fluid - i'm not fond of widening the column but we can make it work.
4. Readjust the layout of your website so that the content stretches to
the total width and wraps around the pictures as necessary. Right now your columns have been given a fixed width. To set it up so that it readjusts to the total width of the screen regardless
of the size of the window you will need everything changed over to
percentages.
5. Make the fonts at the top more interesting and bigger for the names site (broad etc.)
6. [login to view URL] should load to a main landing page instead of having an error message. this has something to do w/ [login to view URL] the landing page will need some alterations which will be similar to the layout of the main wordpress blog page.
7. Teach me a bit about how to post etc. beyond what i'm doing now, building a new page, the loading of flickr etc.
(She went on to offer other suggestions and I'm open to your thoughts as well.)
If I may I'd also like to offer a few other recommendations that will
increase your website's readability and useability:
-Streamline the fonts so there's more uniformity in the type of font, size,
and line height used.
-Install a plugin called "All In One SEO Pack". If you're interested in
bettering your ranking with search engines this will help tremendously.
Because you are in such a competitive field I can't guarentee the best
results, but I have had wonderful results from it in the past.
-Add two links, one to subscribe to your RSS feed and one to subscribe to
your RSS feed by e-mail. Those who subscribe will be notified when you post new content.
