Hello all, I'm struggling to get a company name for my business and I want to create this project to get more input and ideas out in the open. CONTEXT I am starting a new graphic design business that creates logos and branding for businesses and startups. I have been brainstorming for a while now but I want input from someone with more experience. PROJECT I need 10 short snappy names that are no more than 3 syllables long and have reference to any of the following: design, (business) growth, speed/efficiency, sketching/drawing, prosperity. You can include animals or objects as part of it, e.g RedDog but ideally stick to design trait words like "Ink" or "Graphite", without sounding too feminine. Keep it modern and fun. The names must adhere to the following: 1) The name cannot be an existing company name 2) The name must be no more than three syllables long (e.g. TO-MA-TO) 3) The name must not be offensive or refer to anything inappropriate 4) The name should be suitable for a graphic design business 5) The name must be accepted on the Companies House register in the UK ([login to view URL]) 6) The name must be available as a .com and/or .[login to view URL] site. INSIPRATION Some ideas to get the creative cogs moving would be the following: - A name associated with design or aspects of design - A name associated with branding or identity - A name associated with a colour and an object/animal - A name associated with making and building something - A name associated with speed and efficiency - A name associated with growth and potential - A name that merges two words together - A name that isn't even a word, just three short sounds Some examples of similar design companies I would like my company name to be like are "Blind", "99designs", "Pentagram", "Right Angle" and "Carbon". Dear Customer, My suggestions for your design firm as below: 1. Vectorian (sounds like someone who blend into vector as his/her personality) 2. Heavenbrush (sounds like a tool that we usualy use for drawing "brush" to make something beautiful "heaven" ) 3. Tickline (sounds simple and everybody knows that design never be apart from a line in the beginning) 4. Rabbittail (shape of rabbit's tail looks like brush painting) 5. SquareInk (square is the shape of a canvas and the ink is a tools to draw something) 6. whitecanvas (no designer can make a creation without canvas) 7.
