We are looking to hire a freelance graphic designer to help us design a new logo, color scheme, and other various elements that will be used to rebrand our web and social presence. While this is a one-time gig, our clients are often in need of graphic designers for branding, site design, and creating social ads/marketing elements, so we hope to start an ongoing relationship with a designer that can facilitate referrals in the future.
A bit about us: we are a boutique video and photo production company based out of Los Angeles, CA that specializes in creating content for entrepreneurs, inventors, and start-ups that are launching new products via crowdfunding platforms (Kickstarter, Indiegogo, etc.). We have over 5 years of experience in this space, having helped raise many millions of dollars for our clients' campaigns, and we just completed our first year of official business operating under the entity Early Bird Studios.
Our clientele: our clients are predominantly entrepreneurs, engineers, artists, and start-up teams that focus on launching new products in the tech and design spaces. Demographics-wise, our client-base is approximately 75% male, 25% female, with an average age range between 28 and 48.
Our creative: We are looking to rebrand around a centralized logo system that can be used for web, print, and social purposes. We currently use a two-tone humming bird as our icon, along with all-caps text, but we are not married to either of these symbols/styles. Ultimately, we would love an iconic logo that we can use as our avatars and most recognizable marketing asset. It can be very abstract or straight-forward. Themes using birds or the sun/astronomy-themed symbols are welcome but not required. The final logo should be clean, sleek, and simple that represents our commitment to helping businesses grow through content while also speaking directly to the tech/design communities. Our preferred color-schemes are cool tones: blues, greens, black/greys, and white. Red, orange, yellow, brown, or other warm hues are not ideal. We would like the final logo to be color-reversible for dark/light background usage and sent to us as an Illustrator file and large resolution PNG.
