Task: Annual holiday card
About us: We are US based, small design firm. We do architecture, interior design and interiors. We have our main office n Miami and co-working space in Denver with one part time staff member. Each year we send out a holiday card to our clients, vendors, and consultants. We like the theme of introducing elements that are unique to each city that we do work in: Denver and Miami. We also like these holiday cards to be informative. Last year the holiday card introduced the recipient to two different plants that are native to Colorado and Florida. The year before we had an urban skyline that had mountains and palm trees. We would like to keep that theme of two cities/States, teaching people something about each one.
Concept for this year: Company logo with two birds flying around it with one bird drifting a bit farther away. The birds will be the State birds of Florida and Colorado. The Colorado bird will be a little farther from the logo (since it is a satellite office) on the right side and behind it will be a background of an over-sized snowflake or maybe lots of snowflakes of varying size. The Florida bird will be on the left side of the logo and closer to it. Perhaps there is an illustration of a sun in the upper right hand corner. Each bird will be illustrated with its actual features and the color of the feathers. Our logo would either be adorned with Holiday colors: Red, Green and Silver or striped like a candy cane(red and white). In large text we would have "HAPPY HOLIDAYS 2017" and our company name. Somewhere we would need to identify the two birds so that people know what they are looking at.
Card size: 4"x 9" landscape. White heavy card stock. We plan on signing the back of the card with our names.
We would like to have the work completed by Wednesday or Thursday the latest.
