The brand: Its probably best to have a good search around the website and read the 'our product' and 'our story' pages to get a feel for what its all about.
The audience: Customer wise, it is female predominantly 30 and up with the average age around 40yo. Retail wise, its higher-end ladies fashion - ie I'm not competing with surf stores against rashie sales. It also includes some kids/maternity stores who also stock ladies wear.
Brand essence: The concept of sun protection is the key selling point, but also the element of the product most unknown. This 'new idea' positions the brand as innovative, but it is not a cutting edge product that is trying to appeal to the high end cutting edge fashion audience. While the natural go to is the beach/pool angle, I am conscious of building the premise that these are clothes that can be worn anywhere, as sun protection should be a part of every woman's every day life.
Design elements required:
Look book
To incorporate graphic design and both campaign and ghosted product images. An example is here of what I'd like to achieve - [url removed, login to view] My original book is attached. There would be nine products in total and I'd be open to how many pages it required based on final designed layout.
If I could have a final design that would work as a digital book as well as a standard PDF that would be great. There wouldn't be a need for the product table at the back, I'll include this in a pricelist.
Brand jpegs
As seen on the front of the website, I need 4-5 new jpegs created which i can use over the summer to swap in and out of the site. I can supply stock photography and concepts
Retail poster / postcard / A4 counter stand
These materials would be used to support retail customers in store. I wouldn't go ahead for final production, but would like to have the designs ready for when I need to. From a design perspective, I don't have a detailed brief including info but can provide this. I'm also happy for any advice on what might work best.
