What I can assume the the effective solution would be as follow : 1> The most important is the inventory management where you can manage the raw material you have indent and the ready product what you have prepared for sale. 2> for that you will require a separate inventory management system and it will sync the data with your online store. 3> in your inventory management system you can upload the raw material with CSV upload for bulk or manual entry. And in the same way you can manage inventory for ready product . 4> According to the product preparation the the stock of raw material will be adjusted. 5> At the same time the ready product will be adjusted with sale items. I'd like you to consider framework development for the kind of functionality you are intending to build rather than going for magento or any other CMS. I work with Magento and volusion both! But the brief function of batching/assembly as you've described will not be achievable by magento. You'd have to get some custom extension developed for this functionality, in case of magento and even then I don't think your purpose would be solved here. You should consider Ruby on Rails of Laravel for your project. Do you have any document written on this? As you've mentioned that as soon as 12 mls is sold, it needs to remove 12 mls from the entire quatity and a bottle.. this can be done on magento easily. But I'm assuming there would be whole lot of configurations like this? i.e. on what quantity how many bottles are to be used or size of bottle, etc Please do not consider my bid amount and time final, I'd like to discuss this project with you first.
