So I need to know how to generate e-mails, in the format .EML, to be sent by an SMTP component. They will have HTML body content. I only need to know how to make .EML files I just need to know: what content is needed in the EML file. I found the example below.... Return-Path: <email address> To: Destination Name <email address destination> Subject: Testing MIME E-mail From: Sending Name <email address sending> Reply-To: Sending Name <email address sending> Sender: <email address sending> X-Mailer: ... MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="..." Message-ID: <some ID> Date: Sat, 30 Apr 2005 19:28:29 -0300 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Regarding the example given, are all of these fields needed? If I want to send HTML emails, is there anything missing there? What is X-Mailer? What is Content-Transfer-Encoding? So I need to know how to generate e-mails in EML format, to be sent by an SMTP component.
