''How To'' use Eclipse with: JBoss AS 7, jdk 1.7, Java EE 6, Spring (latest)

Bidders, Overview/Summary: I need a step-by-step document, with lots of screenshots, showing/telling how to setup and deploy EJB 3.1 and Spring 3.1 (or latest) projects/applications. I need the process of *hand-rolling* the files & directories explained first, then with the wizards available. If you already use this environment, this will be a *very easy job*. Basics: - Note: Do not teach me how to install and use anything else other than Eclipse. I am trying to keep this deliverable as small as possible. - Do NOT create a single 'kitchen sink' "How To" that has one of everything. That is impractical. Just do a few simpler ones. - The deliverable layout should be similar to: 0. Existing environment - Describe & snapshot the non-Eclipse IDE parts that are already installed. 1. Downloading and Configuring Eclipse - Indigo, plugins, OS config (Windows or Linux is fine-I do both) - Any changes to Eclipse itself from default. - Include Spring jars & env/path variables on the OS side (just snapshot what you have that works-the focus is using Eclipse) - I already know how to connect the JBoss AS 7 server, MySQL, etc. 2. One project example (assumes #1 already done) - Start each project from scratch. Show how to deploy, console output snippet verifying. - If you want to use Eclipse's built-in project references to include existing code from previous projects, that would be fine. 3. Another project example (assumes #1 already done) 4. Still another project (assumes #1 already done) - one project should show how to: Make a change to deployed code, and deploy that change. Major points if using JRebel to hot deploy. [...] ## Deliverables _Please Read:_ If you are _**not**_ using Eclipse, JBoss AS 7, EE 6, and Spring (latest) on a *regular basis*, then _please do not bid_. I need to pay someone to teach me how to write projects in Eclipse and deploy them on JBoss, not pay someone to learn how. You will not be able to learn how to teach me in 7 days. Detail: 1. I have been writing in Java SE with Eclipse for years, but can't get it to work with JBoss to deploy EE 6 and Spring applications. 2. I am not concerned with Web/GUI at all. 3. This project will also not involve any DB connectivity/JPA/Hibernate, etc. 4. I am using Eclipse Indigo. 5. I also have a trial of JBoss Developer Studio ($99 if I buy it for a year), which seems complete. 6. The examples need to be for Web Services, EJBs (stateful, stateless, mdb) in Spring, and at least one class that is solely business logic. 7. All examples need to use XML configuration files. I.e. a combination of Constructor Type injection, Setter Type injection, XML Namespaces, and Property files), and not rely solely on annotations. 8. Include: Application Context container, Bean Factory container, Spring JMS, Java Contexts and Dependency Injection (CDI). 8a. For CDI, I'm talking about Spring as well as separate portion of examples with JSR 299 ([login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], and [login to view URL] (taken from page 15 of Java EE 6 Cookbook)). 9. I don't need any Java training. I've been programming in java for many years-but only SE. I have no EE experience, and while I have lots of books with code examples, none of them tell you how to actually use it in Eclipse and [hot] deploy. 10. I'm good with Ant, but have never used Maven (I am a beginner) 11. I have these books if the teacher/instructor wants to use examples from them: Just Spring July 2011 (1st Ed.), Java EE 6 Cookbook for Securing, Tuning, and Extending Enterprise Applications June 2012 (1st Ed.), Spring in Action 2011 (3rd Ed.). Deliverable: 1. The deliverable should simply be one or more MS Word documents with step #s (1, 2, 3, ...) and screenshots. If a screenshot needs clarification, or is not obvious, just a quick note under it to explain would be great. It is far easier to snapshot than to write. Faster, too! 1a. When done, the user should be able to use these documents to configure Eclipse for the environment described above, create a modest variety of deployable EE 6 projects, make changes to those projects, all of which from Eclipse. 1b. If you prefer to use tools like IntelliJ or YourKit in your tutorials/How Tos, please explain why they are better than plain Eclipse, and how they should be used in EE development. If you are introducing tools like these, you must screenshot & describe their installation and setup for the target environment above. 2. I should be able to write software just like you do-which hopefully is the correct, simplest, and easiest way. :) This means that we're really talking about an *Eclipse training deliverable* more than anything else. Please contact me if this is confusing. For the right person, this is less than 1 hour-3 hours tops. If you cannot bid this under the limit, please explain to me why, and explain what it would take to do the project your way. Perhaps there is a lot more to cover than I have mentioned in order to it properly. I'm admitting I'm not a Java EE 6 expert, so I'm all ears if you are! :)
