The overall goal of the project is to create a communication gateway between a Raspberry Pi and an API that will generate these messages on a web platform. The server, the PLC and the software are already functional. I am looking for a person who can code me the hardware side. The Raspberry PI should send commands such as IO and date/time. In addition, it will have to communicate with another external device via the MDB protocol. Here are 2 links on the MDB protocol: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] In order to transmit the information to the API, the Raspberry must have a Wifi and / or network connection. For Version 2 it will have to link with a GSM modem (by cellular network) in consideration that there is no wifi available

I have done two similar projects like the one, one with a Pi0 getting geolocation(connected with a gsm modem) and one serving a sensor station for a smart city demo. Relevant Skills and Experience I have used APIs on raspberry pi to connect with HTTP , UDP and Telnet Servers. I am familiar with JSON and Node also.
