i have a server (linux/centos) and my default ip is: [login to view URL] so i bought another ip (ip failover) [login to view URL]
if i visit in browser [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] its opening same page
so i have eth0:
UUID="2f99a6-6566-sb24-bd0e-bf5a8d4a1765"
IPADDR="[login to view URL]"
GATEWAY="[login to view URL]"
NETMASK="[login to view URL]"
BOOTPROTO="static"
DEVICE="eth0"
ONBOOT="yes"
also i created eth0:0
same as above just changed
DEVICE="eth0:0"
IPADDR="[login to view URL]"
#GATEWAY="[login to view URL]"(commented it)
when i run
curl --interface eth0 [login to view URL] the response is [login to view URL]
curl --interface eth0:0 [login to view URL] the response is [login to view URL]
but when i use wget or ffmpeg(i just want to find solution for ffmpeg ) then ip is [login to view URL]
so how i can make default outbound IP to be [login to view URL] (its my second ip/ i bought as failover ip)

Hello, I found your project and understand all your requirements. We could try but I am not sure if adding a static route will fix this. We need to take a backup of the server before proceeding. Please Explain about the project in detail to start our work. You can send me a private message to discuss about your project. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

Kindly confirm your Gateway ip and interface ip address, both cannot be same. is this your gateway machine?
Also, share your /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0.
