Based on your business questions, following approach will be used: 1. How easy it is to enter the market This question will be answered through secondary research and primary research (linked to Q2, Q3, and Q4) . Every country has it's own laws for various industries that are functional in it. Since toothpaste is a consumer product that relates to personal hygiene, it's safe to assume that there will be rigid FDA type laws that govern such products. Main source of information for answering this question will be official government websites. If necessary, some primary research might be used i. e. clarifying ambiguities about some regulation by dropping an email to relevant government department. 2. Is there a need for more natural whitening toothpastes 3. What are the requirements customers have to such products 4. Who are my biggest competitors. Question 2, 3, and 4 will require primary research. A need scope survey will be conducted. It will explore how available brands are fulfilling the emotional and functional needs of consumers (by default it will cover main competitors). Online quantitative survey will be conducted on population based sample. Population data will be gathered through official sources to devise sample. Sample will ensure major geographical areas of the given country is covered. However, it comes with a caveat of using online methodology. SurveyMonkey will be used for data collection. Descriptive statistics along with relational statistics will be used for analysis and compilation of the results.
