Writing an Android/iOS app - that lists and embedds a set of videos (Mysql, PHP, API))

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

I'm looking for someone to create a cross plattform (ios, android) app that will allow users to view a particular set of 72 educational youtube videos (from my channel), based on a language choice.

To this basic feature is added the following capability: Users may ask questions related to this particular video and see the answers to questions that have already asked and answered (by admin staff through a web interface, that is not part of this job).

All data is stored in a MySQL db on my Webhost.

An API needs to be coded in PHP to so the App can communicate with the MySQL db

MORE DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Notes (eg. RED 1, BLUE ARROW 3 etc.) refer to the sketch found in the attached file "[login to view URL]" to give you a basic idea of what the project involves. Minor changes possible. All mysql tables shown are populated for illustration purposes only.

RED 1

- First Screen (bg img, logo).

- Bottom: Navigation bar

-- left: "Select language" > on click: list of languages as present in the mysql table (BLUE ARROW 1)

-- right: "menu general": 1) link to website 2) "about" screen

- IF data service off: display warning that APP needs an active internet connection

RED 2

- based on language choice (that needs to be remembered for the session until it is changed by the user by returning to RED 1) (lang_id): SHOW > Table of contents (main headings ["Chapter"], sub headings listing according to ep_id) All data comes from mysql table "content" (BLUE ARROW 2)

- Bottom: Navigation bar (< Back Button),right: "menu general"

RED 3

IF WiFi active: continue to RED 4

IF Data enabled but WiFi inactive: display warning message about high data involved with streaming video (semi transparent popup) - text of msg based on lang_id selected - draw content from mysql table "Warning" (BLUE ARROW 4)

RED 4

- 4 segments (all data see BLUE ARROW 3):

--- seg 1: Video embedded based on the selection in RED 2 (lang_id, ep_id) - click to play

--- seg 2: a click-able list of other videos from the same category (category, episode_n) > if clicked: direct to RED 4 with new ep_id

--- seg 3: display Questions and Answers where = lang_id AND ep_id match AND live is "yes"

--- seg 4: form for user input: "New Question", "email" (column currently missing in mysql db shown here). Button: "submit"

User input is stored in table of DB with a default value "no" in column "live" (it will be reviewed, answered and set "live" via a web interface that is not part of this app)

RED 5

IF user rotates phone 90° while on screen RED 4 : Video should play full screen (horizontal) (other options of RED 4 do not need to be displayed in this mode). At end of video > rotate back.
