Python app required which will query the Indeed jobsite API with parameters and store the resulting XML into a table. This app will end-up running once a day The sequence in more detail is as follows: 1) scan a table with the API query parameters 2) form an execute the query against the Indeed API 3) save query and response summary in a logging table 4) save unique API responses to results table The DB is setup in AWS (Aurora) and the Python app will need to be run as batch in the background.

With my experience of scraping everything from simple sites with a single table to complex sites full of javascript, I have been able to complete many similar tasks to this. At Quandl my work was mainly focused on quick, precise web scrapping, and the corresponding analysis and integrations that came with it. and I have been able to gain an in-depth knowledge of how to apply various data analysis techniques to almost any type of data. We worked almost exclusively with Scrapy at Quandl, so I have multiple years of experience working in that framework. With my extensive work with data extraction, manipulation and all the intricacies of robust, easy to maintain scrapers, I believe my skills are perfect for this job. Hi my name is Povilas and I'm perfect for your task. I'm Python developer with experience in working with many popular API's (Ebay, Amazon, etc.). I did not used Indeed API but i'm pretty sure it is standard api so there won't be any trouble. I mostly specialize in Web scraping and custom programming. I also have experience working with Amazon AWS products like EC2, S3, Step Functions and also AWS variouos API's which we should use to interact with Aurora. Luckly amazon released a great SDK BOTO3 for interacting with it's endpoints.
