Based on your project you need to achieve the following (i) partition expanded on my aws ec2 instance. (ii) Traffic rules setup for security groups. To be able to achieve this here in a nutshell are some steps will undergo: Task (i) 1. Create a snapshot of the existing volume from which the partition is mounted 2. Increase the size of the volume to expected size from the snapshot. 3. Use the volume created in the step (3) above. 4. Expand the partition size from the EC2 instance to take the changes. Task (ii) 1. Adjust the SG (security group) rules either for classic or vpc network according to your expectation.
